I think the main characters in this story right now isARE Henry, Dan, and Billy. The minor characters in the story I think are Patsy, Hank, and his Mom and Dad. I think the minor characters affect the main characters because Patsy is always on Henry's mind and she is determining(?) Henry to get home so he can see her. Henry has to make the decision to go and try to walk through France and try to make it home quicker when he wakes up from surgery and all he is thinking about is what his mom and dad would want him to do. I think Henry approaching the random man could have been a very bad decision that I disagreed with at first. The man could have called the police and gotten Henry in a lot of trouble. But Henry actually made the right decision and the random man helped him out. This story changed my thinking because I did not know much about how the United States entered into the h(H)olocaust to help the Jewish people. This has helped me gain knowledge on the United States entering into WWII.

Some good information, Joey. Interesting to know that the random man was actually a friend rather than a foe. I think Henry lucked out there. Always proof posts before saving them!
